I order to try to welcome students into the Wesley Foundation our leadership team was able to host a massive corn-hole tournament complete with a one hundred dollar grand prize! I arrived at the area pre- determined to help set up all of the items that came with the event. First and most important, was the huge Corn-hole Board, nearly five times the size of a standard board. This piece created interest in the students, making them want to see what was going on. After that was set up, the corn-hole boards were placed around the student chapel where students typically gather for meals. However, we did not just stop at the corn-hole boards, we had hot dogs, lemonade, free T-shirts and fliers about the Wesley Foundation that we placed on a table and handed out to individuals as they walked by. Overall, it was a great success; I got to know many new people, threw some bean bags, and invited people to Christ in a way that was fun and exciting.
